Day – 01: Arrival / Chennai

Meeting & assistance upon arrival in Chennai. Later transfer you to at the Hotel.

Located on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal, it is a major commercial, cultural, and educational centre in South India, while the port of Chennai is the second largest port in India.

Day – 02- Chennai /Kanchipuram / Mahabalipuram

Morning we will start the city tour of Cochin. We will start the tour from Chennai Museum (Closed on Friday). Following the drive through the flower & fruit market, Fort museum, Marina beach.

Later drive to Mahabalipuram enroute visit to Kanchipuram.

Kanchipuram is the famous temple city in the Indian state of Tamilnadu. It is also known by its former names Kanchiampathi, Conjeevaram, and the nick name ' the city of Thousand Temples'. Kanchipuram is considered one of the seven holiest cities to the Hindus of India. In Hinduism, a kṣetra is a sacred ground, a field of active power, a place where moksha, final release can be obtained. We will explore some famous Temple of Kanchipuram. If you are interested in shopping then you will get one of the best silk sari in Kanchipuram.

After the tour of Kanchipuram we will proceed for Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Day – 03- Mahabalipuram

Mahabalipuram was a 7th century port city of the South Indian dynasty of the Pallavas around 60 km south from the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The name Mamallapuram is believed to have been given after the Pallava king Narasimhavarman I, who took on the epithet Maha-malla (great wrestler), as the favourite sport of the Pallavas was wrestling.

Today full day we will exlore this amazing city. We will start the tour from to visit the Caves. There are nine rock – cut temples. Later we will visit the Arjuna's Penane & Five Rathas – There are five monolithic temples, each created in a different style.

Day – 04: Mahabalipuram / Trichy

Morning drive to Trichy. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Tiruchirappalli is one of the oldest inhabited cities in Tamil Nadu, its earliest settlements dating back to the second millennium BC. Uraiyur, which served as the capital of the Early Cholas from the third century BC to the third century AD. Trichy situated on the banks of river Kaveri and fourth largest city in the state was a citadel of the early Cholas, which later fell to Pallavas.

Day – 05 Trichy / Tanjore / Madurai

After the breakfast we will start the city tour.

Following the tour drive to Madurai enroute we will visit the Tanjore. Tanjore is an important center of South Indian art and architecture. Most of the Great Living Chola Temples which are UNESCO World Heritage Monuments are located in and around Thanjavur. The foremost among the Great Living Chola temples, the Brihadeeswara Temple, is located in the center of the city. Thanjavur is also the home of the Tanjore painting, a painting style unique to the region. The city is an important agricultural center located at the heart of the region, known as the Rice bowl of Tamil Nadu.

Following the tour continue drive to Madurai. Upon arrival check into Hotel

Day – 06: Madurai:

After the breakfast we will proceed for the sight seeing. Madurai is the largest cisty in Madurai. It is ne of the oldest continuously inhabited cities. We will visit the famous Meenakshi Temple. There are four entrances to this amazing temple complex set in 6 characters.

Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

Day – 07: Madurai / Periyar

Morning drive to Periyar. Morning drive to Periyar. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary lies in the picturesque locales of the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala. The Periyar Lake, an artificial lake formed due to construction of a dam in 1895 AD adds to the beauty of the park. The lake is a permanent source of water for the wildlife.

Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grass lands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.

Evening we will enjoy the boat ride at Lake Periyar. This is most enjoyable part of seeing the wildlife around the lake in a boat. From the safety of a boat you can witness herds of wild elephants coming down to water and swim.

Day – 08 Periyar / Munnar

Morning drive to Munnar, the famous hill station of India.

Upon arrival check into Hotel.

Day – 09: Munnar

Morning is at leisure to enjoy the beauty of Munnar. Morning we will visit to Chris Church. This was built in 1910 by the British in Munar. Following the tour we will explore the flaura & fauna of Munnar.

Later we will visit the Tea Plantation in Munnar. A fascinating insight into the production of one of the world's most popular drinks can be discovered at the Kundale Tea Plantation. Watch and learn the process of how tea is made starting from the plant you see covering the landscape all the way to the tea cup. Sundays the local planters gather together, making it an ideal time to visit

Day – 10: Munnar / Alleppey / Houseboat

Morning drive to Alleppey to embark the Houseboat.

Alleppey houseboat is the only medium to explore the scenic beauty of the backwaters, which are mesmerizing and offers you treat to the eyes. The houseboat in Alleppey slowly floating over the scenic backwater takes you to the world of wonderments passing through the scintillating natural beauty, terrific churches and emerald green paddy fields that offers sight that one can hardly forget.

Day – 11: Houseboat / Kumarakom

Morning disembark from the Houseboat at Kumarakom.

Kumarakom is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a noted bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. The Vembanad Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is habitat for many marine and freshwater fish species and it teems with Karimeen (Pearl spot), shrimp and prawns.

Day – 11: Kumarakom

Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the backwaters.

Day – 12: Kumarakom / Mararikulam

Morning drive to Mararikulam. Upon arrival check into Hotel. Mararikulam is a beach village in the district of Alappuzha. Mararikulam is the fertile land of communism and it has a very beautiful beach which is known by the name Marari Beach or Mararikulam beach. There are two village panchayts for this village, Mararikulam South andMararikulam North.

Day – 13: Mararikulam

Rest of the day to enjoy the Beach.

Day – 14: Mararikulam / Cochin

Morning drive to Cochin airport to board the flight to onward destination.
